Cleaver didn’t set out to become one of the go-to food places in Calgary or a standout name among downtown restaurants Calgary locals love. We simply opened our doors in 2004, served honest food, and let the experience speak for itself.
Two decades later, we’ve earned our place among the most trusted Calgary bars—not by following trends, but by staying consistent.
We've seen trends come and go. Farm-to-table became a buzzword. We'd already been doing it. We don't chase recognition, we earn it, dish by dish, night by night, in the kind of dining room where strangers become regulars and regulars become family.
